Security Administrative Assistant (SAA) will provide classified security support to government customer based at NAS Patuxent River, MD. Duties requires the implementation of security practices and procedures in accordance with all applicable policies and guidelines.
This position requires U.S. citizenship and a final DoD TOP SECRET clearance with most recent investigation (SSBI, SBPR, PPR, T5, T5R) completed within the last 6 years.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all administrative actions required to maintain the DoN's Program Access Request process utilizing the DoN's SAPNP criteria.
- Perform all data entry for the submission of Program Access Request's (PAR's), complete Program Indoctrinations Agreements (PIA's), and update facility information utilizing the DoN's Joint Access Database, Joint Access Database Environment (JADE), or alternate databases.
- Track the staffing process, maintain status, and obtain signatures as required and provide PAR tracking status metrics to the Government PSO and/or Government Program Manager upon request.
- Prepare visit certifications and obtain approvals for Program Office personnel.
- Review and obtain appropriate approvals for Program Office personnel.
- Responsible for processing base access requests utilizing the Base Access Security Information Control System (Basics).
- Provide Security support during test and demonstration events.
- Perform Document Control Officer (DCO) duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Education / Certifications:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- This position requires U.S. citizenship and a final DoD TOP SECRET clearance with most recent investigation (SSBI, SBPR, PPR, T5, T5R) completed within the last 6 years.
- Experience:
- Two (2) years’ experience in a DoD Security environment (Military, Govt Civilian, or DoD contractor). Two (1) year of that experience working in specialized classified environment is desired.
- Working knowledge of security manuals, directives, and Executive orders to include but not limited to; EO 13526, DoD 5220.22-M (NISPOM), DoDM 5200.01, Volumes 1-4, DoDM 5205.07, Volumes 1-4.
- Skills & Technology Used:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, and Outlook
